    Hello all. I have read some of the boards in the past but I finally just registered. I was hoping to get some advice or suggestions. I am a trader/broker right now and have been working on a trading style for almost a year. The account has about $5000 but every month I take out all the profits to pay my bills thus the account never grows. It has performed about 6% a month NOT year. I have the statements to prove it and feel that I have something that will work but I need more money to really profit from it. I feel so strongly that it will continue to work but I don't know where to start to look for funds. I am taking a loan against my 401k from work which is only about $10k. I can't ask parents and friends( At least not yet). I want at least $100k +. I checked the internet and I can't find any reasonable method of attracting investors. I don't trust these angel investors. Is there any other route you can suggest to attract investors? I wouldn't have any problems with presenting my past performance record.

    I'M real serious. Im not looking for people here to want to trade with me . When I search on line its the same thing....find an Angel Investor or friends and family. I was hoping there were traders or maybe people here that were in my situation that could suggest some ideas.

    I am extremely sceptical about this post and leaving the thread open.

    What product do you trade? In what country are you based?

    Why don't you go to a prop trading firm with your performance if you are looking for leverage?

    I have investors willing to give you the $100000 but I left my contacts notebook in nigeria when I fled (I am a prince), my lawyer is willing to track it down but he will require $5000 in fees.

    I don't mean for this topic to be so controversial and I apologize. I don't expect people to send me pms looking to invest. I am just putting things together still and was wondering is any of the Vet traders could share how they got started. Maybe through their experience and if there are any other ways to solicit LARGER investors. I found on the internet such as Angel Investors or to ask money from friends and family but I am looking for more ways than that. I was hoping someone here could recommend for example..Johnsmith investors in Chicago or Newtraders fund in New York. Some place I can get started. I am not looking to solicit here just really was hoping someone here could point me in the right direction.
