Is it true the arts block is flooded?

I don't know, saw a pic of under Front Arch in the weather forum, it's a pond. Acc to Facebook, part of the Berkeley is flooded - that doesn't sound good for the Early-Printed Books :(

does anyone want to contact the greats and ask if they can recall a flood in College like this before? Goldhall was leaking at 4 all over the place, so I doubt that'll be in use tomorrow considering a cardboard box was the only protection the plug socket had from the leaks

    Paddy.

    Sounds legit.

Anyway, I've got my first lecture tomorrow in Goldsmith Hall. Does anyone know if it'll be in use? I can't see them being able to relocate 450 or so people if the hall is unusable.

It should be fine, I was in there for my last lecture today at 5pm and it was grand, nothing major.
However, the puddles outside the Hamilton were unavoidable when I was going home in the dark at about 7pm. My shoes became kayaks.

On After Hours someone mentioned the underground areas of Trinity being flooded.

Did any water manage to get in to the building?

Lower Ground Floor of the Dental Hospital was flooded. The Common room (located on 2nd floor) was closed due to severe leaks in the ceiling.

Any truth to the rumour that the Ed Burke got wet?

Still no mail. Need to know in time to pump up the kayak.
