added rad upstairs and wont heat up

    hi all
    im developing an upstair in my house with 3 beds and bathroom
    for the time being ive added just one rad ,for a bedroom but cant get any heat to it ,ive bled it but no look
    i have a oil range which goes direct to a storage tank and connects to bottom of tank , teed to rad .return to bottom of tank and teed to rads,pump on return,unusual to connect to underside of i know.
    where the flow come out of tank and goes to downstairs rad ive teed in and took pipe straight up to upstairs rad but heat doesnt seem to climb .
    do i need to add another pump for upstairs

    Try closing off all the downstairs rads and it should force the hot water upstairs. If it works ok then leave it run for a while and then begin to open the downstairs Rads one at a time. it should be ok.

    tried that but no luck,might try adding a pump
