It'll be available, but its not officially supported yet. Certain functions like location searches aren't available outside the US, and it may have difficulty with some accents and local terms. They're calling it Beta for a reason.

Pretty sure he won't understand that (the UK English version is a He, not a She). You can tell him "Call me Master" though, and he will do that.

Siri is currently calling me Batman.

ye sorry knew it would be eventually. it says nothing about it on their site, you sure its not disabled completely on the irish devices until they update it a bit? being an apple beta tester, I do appreciate what beta means

A few people that got theirs on launch day up in Belfast had Siri working out of the box. Although as already pointed out, maps won't work and local business search won't either, at the moment.

While this might be a great feature for the blind or for when you are driving, I just don't see what the hype is about. Going around chatting to your phone will make you look a little crazy!!
