N7 idiot !

    Driving home bout 20 mins ago along the N7 heading toward new bridge J12.

    I was in-between J11 and J12 and I spot what I think is a car with it's bonnet pointed towards the other side of the road .

    I slow down immediately thinking there has been an accident , and low and behold the younglad in his corsa does a complete U turn across the two lanes , sticks on his hazards and proceeds to drive down the road in the wrong direction along the hard shoulder , obviously missed his turn at J 11

    I'm sitting on the horn at this stage and there is a car or two slowed down behind me flashing there lights at him .

    A suicide mission at it's finest in such terrible conditions, never mind he was on a motorway !

    Tried to ring the guards and was on hold for over two mins on both occasions but just hung up , I would say they were flat out with how the conditions are at present.

    Had I been flying along at more than the 80 I was doing I would of cleaned the car out of it !

    i see a lot of people pulling into the hard shoulder and reversing back to a junction these days , these people are fcking idiots, especially in this weather with reduced visibility

    Should be a years driving ban on the spot , a camera at every junction would also deter them

    Its only a 1 penalty point offence so according to the RSA its twice as dangerous driving at 130 KPH as that would incur 2 points...:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

    People who do things like that should just have their licence taken away permanently as doing something like that has nothing to do with age or driving experience, its simply a lack of intelligence and that's never going to change! :mad:
