    Guys does anyone know what could be the problem my pc will not display youtube videos posted in various posts on boards,i can view videos on youtube itself ok and skysports live score centre will not display either.

    Are you inputting it correctly.


    The trick with youtube videos, unlike images, is that using the whole URL (In this case http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jHjFxJVeCQs) doesnt work, that only generates a blank white box.
    In order to get it to work the ONLY THING you want in the tags is the unique Video ID found in the Url:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jHjFxJVeCQs
    You only want the piece of text emboldened there.

    Sorry what i meant was i cannot see the videos posted by other posters,if i scroll the page i can see bits of it.

    What browser are you using? Do you use an addon such as FlashBlock or something similiar, some adblock programs may block flash embedding, not really sure though, also Youtube has 2 formats, HTML5 and Flash, if your uising a ipad, iphone or something like that they don't support Flash player full stop. Also try updating Flash from www.adobe.com

    I am using IE9 and went to the adobe site and downloaded flash again.

    can you view the boards youtube links now! Firefox is a better browser imho.

    Still cant not even the one in the post on this thread,might try firefox and see what happens.

    Have downloaded firefox and the youtube links are working now.

    Thanks for that as soon as i downloaded firefox and opened this page it told me i needed a flash update to display the video on this thread.
