3002 error

    Hi can someone please help me, im having trouble updating my iphone again.

    Ive looked in the 10s5 thread but cant find a solution

    Ive downloaded the update directly to my laptop
    When I shift click on update it extracts but then I get 3002 error
    I ran a diagnostics and says it cant get a secure link with itunes- even though itunes is working fine

    Ive tried disabiling firewall- no good
    Tried removing host names- no good
    Tried moving file to updates folder- no good

    I read online that apples servers were having trouble but that was over a week ago. Surley the traffic might have died down by now???

    I tried about 20 times yesterday over the course of yesterday and about 5 times this evening with no luck.

    I really dont want to restore , ill loose all my music ( dont have a copy stored on my comp)

    Big thanks to anyone in advance who can help. Its driving me mad!

    Sorry, I'm not a bit technical!

    I haven't updated my phone, do you need to?

    Will it not update automatically if I plug it into itunes?
