    Hey all,

In the current economic situation that we find ourselves in, you may have been affected in such a way that your circle of friends is no longer the same (i.e. friends having to leave the Country in search of work etc.) or equally you are someone who would like to socialise with other people of a similar age group. Either way, Leeside Macra is there for you. A newly established Club situated in Cork City Centre.

Leeside Macra is a youth organisation (17-35yrs) for people living in the Cork City and surrounding areas. We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the month upstairs in Le Chateau Bar, Patrick St. at 8.30pm. Leeside Macra is a great way to meet new people, and try your hand at a range of activities such as volleyball, basketball, tag rugby, soccer, debating, drama, talent competitions, music, community involvement, travel, weekends away....above all Macra is a great way to meet people while having a bit of craic. So why not give it a go?

If you have any questions or require any further information, then please do not hesitate to email them to the email address below.

    Hey Leeside_Social,

Your group sounds really interesting and something that i really think is what i need right now, as i am just recently back in Cork City after travelling for 2 yrs and finding myself with abit of free time and the fact that most of my friends have either moved away or got married and are not interested in going out etc. So basically my social life is near to non-existent at the moment. So you can defo count me in.

Is there anymore events happening soon? Cheers :)

Sounds like a great group. One question though what happens when a member turns 35?? do you call the Le Chateau bouncers to remove them from the building!!

As you may have guessed I'm edging towards the 35 mark :-) Is it worth my while coming along ?

    Hey there dahayeser,

LOL...no don't worry we won't get the Le Chateau Bouncers after you!!! :p

You can still become a member and take part in the vast array of activities and events that we organise but won't be eligible to enter in for competitions i.e. sports etc.

So if you want to get in touch feel to contact me at: leesidemacra@gmail.com

    Cheers :D
