Blogger blog not appearing in Google search results

As the title says, my Blogger blog is not appearing in Google search results, however, it's appearing first in Yahoo/Bing searches.

Search for "Stitch and Bear" in Google and Yahoo/Bing, and you'll see what I mean. Searching for specific topics covered in my blog i.e. "Mulberry Garden" will produce the same type of results.

I have a Google Webmaster account where I have submitted my site map etc. I'm doing all the recommended things such as creating referral links etc with other blogs.

I have a custom domain (i.e. the original blog address was stitchandbear.blogspot.com but I now have www.stitchandbear.com redirecting). Could my robots.txt file somehow have gotten screwed up by this?

    Any help appreciated

Just did a quick search on Google using site: www.stitchandbear.com

and I'm not seeing any results, so it appears that I'm not indexed at all. This is despite the fact that Google Webmaster is returning results and the Googlebot can see my page?

Anyway, I've resubmitted my site for indexing, though I don't know how long that will require to take effect.

I'm wondering if the recent Google Panda change could be causing my site to be ignored?

Most strange, especially as Blogger is a Googley property. 'Stitch and Bear' brings up links that point to the blog, but not the blog itself.

Found this : http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/blogger/thread?tid=57feaaf01156832b&hl=en which mentions using labels as being bad, but not sure if that applies to you.

This is very strange, the results from 'stitch and bear blogger' bring up links about your blog, and about anything mentioning stiches and bears, but not your blog!!

Hmm, googling via www.google.com in the USA for 'stitch and bear blog' or 'stitch and bear' brings up similar results to google.ie. However, going for site:www.stitchandbear.com brings up:

I had a space in my original site: query - when I remove that space, I get the same results as you do.

OK - so that means my site is indexed, which is an answer to the most basic question.

Ok, that's good. And it's the same in US/Irl, so it's not a localised problem. Pretty odd tho.

Aggregator sites like Blogger-index which take articles straight from my RSS feed are ranking with my material, which is annoying.

    Now *thats* annoying.

I resubmitted my site yesterday and it seems to have worked, as I'm now appearing in the results. My ranking on Google for certain things is a little lower than Yahoo/Bing, but at least it's working.

    Thanks
