    Hi all

I'm picking up a used Wii for my 3 & 5 year old and was just wondering what games/accessories are good to kick off with?

What is the minimum number of remotes/nun chuks that you would recommend so the two kids can play together?

Do I even need the nun chuks or would two standard remotes be enough?

They like singing and dancing so I guess the Just Dance game and one of the kids karaoke ones would be a good start?

If I get the mario games will I need steering wheels?

Do I need any special mat/board for the dancing games?

    Cheers for the advice

A remote each would be ideal. One nunchuk should do as they're not needed as much for games. Even games where they're needed (Super Mario Galaxy for example), the second player only needs the remote to help player 1. One standard nunchuk comes with the console, so unless the seller has lost theirs, there's probably no need to get a second.

Just Dance only uses the remote. No mats are required. Wii Fit uses the balance board, but that's not a kids game.

The steering wheels are only plastic shells that go around the remotes. They're not needed to play Mario Kart or other racing games.

There are third party plastic accessories that the remotes snap into (baseball bats, golf clubs, etc.) -- none of these are required. They might be fun for kids, but they're not useful so I wouldn't recommend them.

There's a just dance game specifically for kids too. There are Dora and Diego games and quite a few other younger age group games.

Kirbys Epic Yarn mite be quite good, and has 2 player co-op with just remotes

Kirby's Return to Dreamland or Kirby Wii whatever they're calling it here is out later this month, it's 4 player and easy enough for kids.

Regardless of price epic yarn was a great shout, my kids love it. Easy enough to finish and plenty of re playability to collect all the stuff through the game.

My 8 yr old daughter is getting her first Wii for Christmas. Wii Music comes with the game. Can anyone recommend another game for an 8 yr old?

    Thanks
