Anyone noticed imessage is failing to deliver messages.
    Its happed to me.
It doesent tell me they're not delivered either until many hours later.
It does successfully reroute to the gsm network
I suspect it gets its knickers in a twist if the receiving phone is in not in a 3g area.

I find that it works very well, far the most part. Its success or failure is going to depend on optimum conditions at each end, so if your contact is well, out of contact, then the message won't be delivered until those conditions are met.

If you don't want an iMessage to go as an SMS, turn that option off in settings/messages.
