    Hi,

we were given a piece of jewellery by my husbands Grandmother and I'm looking to buy some Ingots of gold for investment purposes so i figured I'd sell this piece, but I need some advice.
    It hideous!
Its a 24ct gold Snake Bangle, with (whatwe've been told) is a white saphire stone and ruby eyes. It weights about 48grms, and it has a valuation with it from 1983 detailing the piece and valueing it at 1500-1800 Sterling. ( ipresume for insurance purposes)
I obviously would like to get the best price for it but don't know who or where I can go to that I'm not going to get ripped off.
Any suggestions or advice will be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers:)
