There's one or two keyboard warriors on here it seems! FFS, an unstable, deranged man was following the OP! Even if he took him on, its still only 50/50 who'd be leaving in an ambulance! OP you did the right thing. Now you are safe, and the junkie is nowhere to be seen. Result!

One thing always strikes me, its the like of these "hardmen", people who say they'd confront people or beat someone up over feckall, who have the least experience of actual real violence in their lives. I'm 6' 2, 20 stone, and I've been in my fair share of altracations outside nightclubs, but I will admit I'll be the first one to walk / run away when a situation starts brewing. All these windbags who say "man-up" and "have you no balls" etc. just havent learned yet. Empty vessels and all that!!!!

I play rugby all my life and was in a lot of stupid fights when I was younger too but I was scared tonight and I'll admit it

Saw no point in a confrontation and even if it came to that I fail to see how that would have made me more of a man

I asked the mod to close the thread because the story seems to have run its course and this looks like it could turn into a flame war too
