Do you use classifieds to buy/sell stuff ?

Personally I don't use them, mainly because I have not much need to sell much stuff or buy second hand things (no hobbies etc), partly because it seems like hassle and partly because I don't want to get scammed and get a bottle of milk instead of a laptop.

Any ah'ers got any interesting tales from wheeling and dealing through classifieds ?

Boards was better when it was just nerds selling stuff to other nerds via the forums. Sold a few games and a PSP that way. Never got done over. Now it's all adverts.ie and people offering to exchange a clutch of hens / a go on their ma / a kimberly mikado for your telly.
