    Hi
I am looking for some advise on the best heating methods for an extension to a bungalow.I am making the current kitchen/dining/living area(13sqm) larger by extending to the rear(21sqm) and to the side(16sqm) to make an L shaped high roof open plan area(50sqm).There is currently an oil stove with a back boiler in this area.Questions I have are:

Should I consider UFH for this area?
How would I fuel the UFH?
Is there need for the back boiler in the stove?
    Should I install solar panels?
Can I put in a system that would also heat other rads in house?

Any advise would be appreciated thanks

Hi homereeno what options did you decide to go with in the end? We're doing something similar ourselves at the moment and be interested to know how you approached it. We have a gas boiler which we intend upgrading and are considering UFH for the new part of the house.
