Christmas Party dress

Hi all

I'm looking for my christmas party dress. Haven't actually started looking yet, but have an idea of what I want. I'm looking for a 1 sleeved dress, a dark colour like black or a deep blue but maybe with a bit of sparkle on it.

I was thinking really sparkly silver shoes - that kind of sparkly that changes colour as the light hits it!

I'd like the dress to be short enough to show off the leg but not too short either - about 2 hand widths above the knee or so.

Anyone know of any places I can go to get these things? As far as my budget goes, I'd like to spend 200 and no more on dress and shoes, but that can be stretched a bit.

Apologies for my terrible description - I'm not familiar with fashion terms!!

Hah, I just put in almost the same search in Asos (got that party dress mail ). I'm also looking for something along the lines of what the OP described, but a lot of the dresses seem a bit young for me.
