Whats the story with diesel at 134.9? it has to be washed if they can sell it that cheap. I used it a few times and notice it flows through the engine like piss. I also got diesel at a texaco once at 145.9 and noticed how long it lasted in the engine and there was a better boost in the engine.

Have you any proof whatsoever to back up your claims?

There was 2 filling stations in the locality at 134.9 and one of them got closed down, the other is always having there diesel inspected by customs.

    1. Was the first one closed down on account of washed fuel?
    2. Customs are more active than ever at the moment.
    3. Was this just outside Galway by any chance?

it has been discussed here quite a lot recently, the consensus seems to be that it's simply not possible to legitimately sell diesel at prices like that

Maybe they sell it at or just below cost to attract custom to their shops.

2 no name filling stations in Ardee are selling diesel at those sort of prices while the Topaz in usually 6-8cent per litre more expensive. However the 2 stations also sell their unleaded at approximately the same amount cheaper then the Topaz too.

I've no problem using them, we put over 100k on a Navara with, maybe, 80% of the diesel used coming from these stations and I've been filling my Astra from there for the last few weeks. This week though I filled it from a Topaz in Dublin so I'll see if there is any difference in the kms I get from the tank.

Do you have actual consumption figures to hand to illustrate?
