I got a email on Wednesday evening saying the Football Manager 12 was dispatched. Should I be expecting to get the game tomorrow? Ordered the game from the UK btw

Mine was sent from the UK 10 days ago. This is the 2nd package in a row to be late. The last one had a sticker on it saying that it was delayed because the address didn't have "Co." before my county. The problem is that eBay does this automatically.

When paying via paypal you can send messages to the seller, you could put your address in there again.

I recently got an email a few days after an auction for verification of my address since it had no postcode. In future I might add a note in all payments that we have none since it has been an issue before for me and delayed getting stuff.

I still have not got my item, emailed him and he has confirmed it is sent, but it might have only been sent now, 4 weeks after buying, just because of that damn postcode. I might have to open a dispute to cover myself too.

I've had that msg from a few eBay sellers mainly the big ones and I do have a std msg I send that says we don't have postcodes and this is the address to use if their is any doubt, but even so I still get asked for verification of my address because of no postcode sometimes as either people don't read PayPal messges or have automated systems that ask the question anyway.

btw sounds daft but I've noticed that letters and parcels with an AIR MAIL sticker on them get here quicker from the UK than those without, but obviously I can't prove that it just seems that way.

I find getting it sent to my workplace means it gets here faster, I also do it since nobody is at home to collect it.

The seller only sent my items when I asked again if they were sent, he only sent last friday and I got it today from the US (to work), pretty quick.

US to Ireland = Faster than you might expect.

UK to Ireland = Slower than you'd expect.

I think you're right. There was no delay this time but it took 11 days from UK to here.

I just wanted to ask does anyone know why there would be delays from UK lately? (didn't want to start a new topic, thought it was similar)
Usually my packages from the UK are maybe 2/3 late but the past two weeks everythings been a week late, had something from China arrive first
