    Hi all,
I could not find a pic of my actual dress so this one is to give you an idea. This dress however is very sim, plain beige on top and plain black on the bottom with beige trim on bottom. No pattern. My dress is same material all way through.

Should I wear a beige blazer /cardi to match in with the beige on top or a black blazer/cardi to match in with the bottom. I am wondering is it too much to have black, beige everywhere. Any recommendations or links to anything you may reccommend?I hope this makes sense.

The dress is beige on top half and black on bottom half with beige trim on the bottom also. Imagine the dress I posted had a trim same colour as top part of the dress.

    Thanks for any help:)

Personally I'd pick black over beige to contrast with the top but both might blend in too much. However I can't think of any alternatives! :)

I would go with the black blazer as beige on beige I would feel would be too much. What you could do if it is for an occasion to bring another colour in like a nice purple or navy with a necklace and heels with black whatever colour you picked. Or you could pick up a plain pair of black heels or flats and add a flower or bow in the chosen colour. Its so easy to do! :) hopefully this helps :)

Thanks if I got a necklace in purple or navy, should I have the shoes purple/navy also? Found the actual dress, Knee length on me.

I'd be inclined to go with black, it looks to be more of a biscuit colour than beige. For shoe's and accessories I would go for a nude colour heels and gold jewellery, I don't think navy would be a good choice with that dress.

Thanks shinikins. Have been looking for a petite blazer but no such look. I'm around 5ft and a lot of the blazers swap me. Anyone seen a nice fitted black blazer? Thanks again

I would go with black shoes with some of your chosen colour in it just to tie it all together, I always find getting shoes in a colour that I need is hard, always easier to do a bit of D.I.Y. Sticking with the two colours on your dress may be ok but not wow

I think I would go for black blazer, black shoes and black/gold accessories.
