Ok so we have the Presidential election on thursday along with the voting on judges pay and on inquiries by the oireachtas.

I obviously understand about the presidential election and the referendum on judges pay, but not too sure about the one on inquiries by the oireachtas.
So could somebody explain exactly what it'll mean to vote yes or no on this. What are the consequences of a yes or no vote?
I want to use my vote properly and not just waste it and vote on something I don't fully understand the consequences of.
