Humans vs Zombies

    Ifyou haven't yet heard Gamessoc and Paranormal society are holding DCU's first game of Humans vs Zombies, starting Monday, as part of zombie week.
    We need as many people as possible to sign up on the website before it starts.

    In case you're wondering,
    Humans vs Zombies is a modified, week-long, game of tag thats been played in universities all over the world.
    All players begin as humans, and one is randomly chosen to be the “Original Zombie.”
    The Original Zombie tags human players and turns them into zombies.
    The zombies must tag and “feed” on a human every 24 hours or he starves to death and is out of the game.
    Humans must defend themselves from zombies by blasting them with nerf guns or rolled up socks.
    The game ends when either all humans have become zombies, or all zombies have died.
    We have more detailed rules on our website.

    So far we have 74 players registered, we're hoping to make 100, more players the more fun.
    You don't have to be a member of any societies to join in.
    If all goes well we'll be sure to do it again.

    They'll be in the Hub from 12 till 2 tomorrow for bandanna collection. Registration closes at 12 though.

    Hey guys, well its been nearly a year and Gamessoc will be hosting this event again in association with Strange Things and Paranormal.

    It'll be starting next Monday, week 5, and its free to play. Its a decent bit of fun and you can get to know other people. Tell all your friends in DCU as well.

    We'll also be selling tickets for a raffle on Monday while we're giving out headbands. Tickets will be 50c per ticket or €2 per strip. There are 4 prizes, all nerf guns of varying levels of awesomeness. We'll hold the raffle monday evening and give out prizes first thing on Tuesday, so if you enter make sure to stay alive!
