    Hello all.

Im wondering if anyone who plays soccer or gaelic football have ever had/have a pair of football boots that they truly believe has actually improved their all round game. ie. ball control, passing, shooting etc, which otherwise wasnt as good with previous boots. The answer will probably be not, but im interested to know all the same. I currently use the Nike Mercurial and have found them good enough myself. I found they wouldnt be as accurate from a dead ball situation as the predator though.

When the adidas F50's first came out the ones with the laces coverd id had a pair and it improved my kicking alot since the laces didn't get in the way

I have a pair of Addias predators and they are decent for kicking ranges and if you are a free kick taker they would benefit you a lot.

Yeah, the nike boots ive found get very flimsy after a short time. Kind of like playing in slippers with laces. Think il definitely go back to predators, maybe the F50 or the powerswerve if i can get them. Heard/Read a lot of good stuff about the latter there. Actually are the powerswerve still on sale today?

Adidas World Cup. Bought them and never looked back. Sprained my ankle this season wearing mercurials, high ankle sprain and I was out for 2 months, always rolling over in them. You can't beat a sturdy pair of boots for GAA

Adidas Word Cup. Light and durable - and don't get effected in rain, don't get soggy etc. Also their design doesn't change from year to year so you always know what you're getting.
