I am looking into buying the Samsung Galaxy S II, I'm on pay as you go as it is at the moment but I'm willing to move to bill pay if i need to.

I want to stay with meteor so an affordable pill for me including the phone will work out at 580 per year and I was wondering if theres anywhere I would be able to buy the phone unlocked online for cheaper.

Also would people recommend buying it online or just going with the bill pay?

What is your reason for wanting to stay with Meteor? If most of your friends are on Meteor and you still want them to be able to call you for free, it's a valid point.

Otherwise, you could consider switching to TescoMobile.ie. With them, you get a Galaxy S2 for free (it'll cost you with Meteor) on an 18-month, 55 euro per month contract that gives you 1000 minutes, 1000 texts and 2GB data.

Yeah it's only for the reason of free calls and texts, their bill plans are rubbish though so it might be worth switching over.
