    Hi folks,

Took a bit of video earlier (.mov). What free programme can I use to edit it? I want to shorten it up, add text, fade out etc.

I downloaded one but after I had all my editing and saving done the bloody thing added a great big watermark across the screen obliterating the video :D

    Suggestions please :)

    ATB,

    John

Google a Sony Vegas Pro free trial, it lasts for 30 days and should do what you want to.

Thanks Lee, I'd rather not a trial if possible though. I'll only end up getting the hang of it when it stops working

Could only find a link for 7 and vista.

If you try download the windows essential xp package for windows I think it has movie maker in it even though its not included. You can deselect all the ones you need or might not want like messenger and writer. If you dont see movie maker you can just cancel the installation.
