Guys just want your thoughts on this. I know recruitment agencies have a bad name in general but this surely is a new low. I was contacted by this agency over a month ago. The recruitment consultant (will remain nameless) asked about a very attractive position with Deutsche Bank and asked me to go for it. Despite being happy at my work I went for the appitude test and subsequent interview. Basically this guy was a leech. He would text me, ring me & send me emails numerous times telling me all the positive things under the sun and if I did not get this well we will work with you and we will get a position for you soon. Even when I was in the interview he "doctored" my CV to make it look better then it was. It was embassessing as I had to say that certain details on my CV was not correct. He rung me 3times within a hour after the interview which I did not answer, sent me a text and a email. He was totally full of s**t. However in the next week when I tried to get feedback as promised he had gone to ground, only once advising he would ring me back but he never did. I know that these guys are sales people but have they become so desperate that they start acting like this?
