Car Radio Aux input help

Hey Everybody,

I have a Sony MEX-1GP in my car and am trying to hook up a
Radio Receiver to it's Aux input.

I've tried just a normal 3.5mm twin male cable and it doesn't seem to work.
Infact, You cannot change anything once its connected.

Looks like your in the wrong area with this post, but i would say that your head unit does not have a 3.5mm aux in but is actually the steering wheel remote socket thats why it freezes up. You need to hook your scanner up to the "BUS Audio IN" at the rear this is assuming you dont have a multi changer attached to it already if that is the case then your goosed.
