Changing course in 2nd year

I'm currently in 2nd year doing a double honours in English and History. I love history, but literally can't stand English anymore and really had to battle through it 1st year.

Is there an option to change to a Major/Minor in History/English? Is it too late?

    Thanks for reading:D

Make an appointment with academic advisory, better yet they have a walk in service on Monday morning, they are in Education house behind John Hume.

You will also need to sit down with the Head of the History Department. The reason for this is: You will be changing into a Single Honours History Programme, even though you are still doing English; you will be denominated History from then on.

As such, the Head of the Department has to approve of you entering this programme, i.e are your grades high enough, etc.

Once she okay's it, then she gets in contact with the Registration Office and you switch over. As long as this window of opportunity is still open and your History grades are good enough, there shouldn't be that much of a problem.
