    HT Wolverhampton W. 0 - 2 Swansea C.
    15:00 Aston Villa ? - ? West Bromwich A.
    15:00 Bolton W. ? - ? Sunderland
    15:00 Newcastle U. ? - ? Wigan Athletic
    17:30 Liverpool ? - ? Norwich C.

Wolves in disarray at half time at home to Swansea. Swansea have dominated them. Was delighted to see Karl Henry at fault for Swansea's 2nd goal. Big 45 mins coming up for Swansea to get their first PL away win.

Poor Mick will be under pressure if they lose this one.

He has done a good job with them to date, but I don't think he is the man to take them to the next level.

Mick to get sacked on Monday, Trap to retire when Ireland lose out to Estonia in the playoffs and Mick to be announced as new Ireland manager by December. You heard it here first.

    Jog on troll

    Why?

Because I don't like him. And also found it hilarious how he listened to the crowd pressure, pressed up incorrectly and got burned for it.

Feel a bit sorry for poor Mick.

Doyle isn't in great form these days either.

Wolves centre backs are diabolical ,they havent a clue .
I'm surprised Mick as a centre back hasnt addressed this issue .

Dyer has been impressive for Swansea.

    Has Mick lost it?

Taking off two creative players

    Wolves are getting schooled.

The Wolves "fans" are a disgrace.

The Wolves "fans" are a disgrace.

They probably would have reacted like that no matter who Mick took off or brought on...clowns.

Jarvis has done SFA during the game and Hamill has not done much either.

Do you want him to take of the keeper?

Both superb goals. Bit of a harsh scoreline but great counter attacking from Swansea.

Wolves have been awful but Stephen Ward is having a decent game. He always looks better playing for club than he does for country.

Sinclair is playing very well, bit greedy though.

I still can't believe that's the same person that was playing left back for us in Russia.

    Different player for Wolves.

McCarthy to get sacked next week?

They haven't been given the ball! There was no need to change those two players just to get the message to the two players coming on to press higher up the pitch. If they continue to press high they'll get more possession, but without both of their most creative players I think they'll struggle to open up Swansea.

I think Mick will get the sack soon enough. Has failed to improve the team and giving the captaincy to Johnson was a big mistake.

McCarthy to get sacked next week?
Read post #4 for a full rundown of how the next couple of months will pan out for him.

Wolves taking a few risks now. Should be another goal for somebody before the end. Hopefully Wolves score soon to set up an exciting finish.

2-2, delighted for McCarthy, fans not booing anymore.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,453 ✭✭✭✭MisterAnarchy

    2-2
Wolves back from the dead ,could even win it now.
    Its a strange old sport.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,184 ✭✭✭✭Pighead

C'mon Wolves. This will be the comeback of the season if they can nick this. 2-0 down after 80 mins, wonder what price they were in running. Must have been about 200/1.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,606 ✭✭✭jaykay74

Funny to hear the Wolves fans singing "You're not singing anymore" at 2-2. You kind of lose the right to taunt the quality of the opposition fans when you boo your own team at HT :)

Have to say I fancy Swansea and Norwich to stay up but QPR to go down.

I disagree. Swansea are gone, the other two will stay up. Blackburn, for me, are as good as relegated unless they appoint a proper manager!!

That's 6 on the trot for wigan, they will really struggle, can't see any playmaker to match N'Zogbia and Rodellaga will find it alot harder this season without him. I think QPR will stay up, pretty much Wigan and Blackburn at the moment to go down but as th PL goes, nothing is certain
