There's a Fiat/Alfa garage on Airton Road, just off the Belgard Road turning at B&Q/Burger King.
Or did you know that already?

Never think to look for a name when I pass the garage.

That would be Tallaght Fiat. Been there years though and used to be a Daewoo/Chevrolet franchise as well. :D

yeah i think that's tallaght fiat - who, a few years ago, wouldn't take my car (punto) for a service as i wasn't a previous customer! wonder if they would now :)

i'm sure they probably had trouble getting money off people(inbred scum) who got work done on their car though 'i'm not bleedin payin ya - gimme me bleedin car' - that's the only reason why i can think of them not accepting my car for a simple service.

i even got a call off o'donoghues saying their new location but never jotted it down - thanks tho

They should take is now alright. I brought a 2004 Punto up to them in 2007 with an automatic gearbox problem and they took it in no problem. Cost me the earth to fix it (€1800) only for it to be written off about 3 months later by a hit and run driver!

If you're looking for service, it's here:

You might also talk to MKW Motors in the same industrial estate, they'd be pretty highly regarded for their quality of work - fairly sh1t hot.

They were part of the EP Mooney group and went bust with them nearly two years ago. They were called Airton FIAT then; I don't know if Tallaght FIAT are the same though.

Donohoes on the Long Mile Road seem to have closed their Dublin showroom. They were part of J Donohoe, who have a big set-up in Enniscorthy.

Tallaght Fiat isn't EP Mooney but they're in the exact same building as Airton Fiat, which was EP Mooney, was in.

Quite a few of the Airton Fiat staff are in South Dublin Fiat/Alfa in Goatstown.
