Im not sure if this is the place to post but I need to get in touch with my landlord JONATHAN MCSHERRY? Does anyone in the south Dublin area know him????he has disappeared!!!! he seems to be from the Clondalkin area.
Our apartment is in Cherry orchard. We have tried contacting him for weeks to say we are moving out
-we have three phone numbers for him (all of which are disconnected!!!)
-He lived in Clondalkin at some stage we went to the house and no one knows him
He owned JJ Autos beside the mill shopping centre Clondalkin and at some stage JJ AUTOS was on the kylemore road Ballyfermot.
Contacted him through facebook and an email address but no answer.
I CANNOT AFFORD TO LEAVE WITHOUT MY DEPOSIT AND WE EVEN HAVE A COUPLE WHO ARE WILLING TO TAKE OVER OUR LEASE. If anybody knows him please send me a private message so I can contact him im moving out in a week so its urgent!!! thanks emma

thanks for the replies. I've already made arrangements to move somewhere else paid up a deposit etc. Maybe foolish but I never expected there to be a problem in finding him as we would be in contact with him from time to time and he had said previously said that if we ever wanted to move out all we had to do is give him notice.!
new apartment is ready second week of november so looks like we will be staying here and not paying the rent till then to try and make back some of the deposit!

What you could do is contact him through his bank. This is assuming that you have his bank details.

They won't give you his address or phone number, but they will forward a letter on to him.

Though, as others have said, if you don't pay the rent no doubt he will contact you.

is your tenancy registered with prtb. notify them or gardai of situation. then sublet the apartment taking a deposit from new tenants which you can sort out with landlord when he resurfaces.

Hi, I have some helpful information for you to help find this "dodgy" car dealer/landlord.

He is currently selling cars from a garage in West Crumlin called J & S car sales address 21 Whitehall Road, West Crumlin.
Here are the phone numbers: xxxxx
    His home address is xxxxx

If you can't find him then maybe you need to contact the Garda......
