Pain in the butt

Hi all, Some advice needed, I recently upped my milage and since then I have developed a slight ache/mild pain in upper butt just below waiste line. its not prohibitive, but annoying. 1. what is it? 2. what stretchs can i do to prevent it and loosing it after run? TIA triskell
