Pretty sure you can play it until you're 21 or 22

I would be pretty sure you missed your chance feeney, ask your college GAA officer, but as far as I know, you only get once chance to play fresher, which is in your first year of college, and thats it I'm afraid. Colleges have plenty of teams at all levels though so not being able to play fresher shouldn't stop you playing!

We've lads in second year on our freshers team this year?
Your best bet would be to speak to your GAA officer

Sorta defeats the purpose of it being called a freshers team if there are second years on it!
I'm registrar for the GAA in my college so I am fairly certain that the 2nd years playing are illegal!

Theres an age limit on lads who can play freshers as well feeney, think it might be 21 or 23, can't remember off the top of my head! I don't think ITB have a designated fresher team, maybe I'm wrong but i think they just have a first and second team?

To be eligible for Freshers, you have to be in your first year of college, and under the age of 21 on the 1st of september.
That is official from the constitution and bye laws of comhairle ardiodeachais.
