I just got this as an unexpected present. It's pretty tarnished and a bit worn. 1 pfennig coin dated 1942. Makers mark "G" identifies it as made in the mint in Karlsruhe.

yeah I started out with a few coins so heres a fw old scans I have... I have a good few more than scanned, bags of 50 pfennings and 1 pfennings etc...

the three on the left are the silver 1, 2 and 5 Reichsmark coins.
the two in the upper right are Notgeld coins issued by the individual cities when the national money became worthless post WW1. My favourite in the top right.
the three in the bottom right are coins from Danzig post WW1.
