Can anyone tell me how difficult it is to install a new aerial that I need for saorview? At the moment I only have RTE 1 and RTE 2. There is an aerial outside but if I only have 2 channels then I guess it must have been disconnected...

If it was disconnected you wouldn't have any channels unless your using an indoor aerial!

Is your aerial something like this.

If so you should be able to get saorview if you have an mepg4 tuner in your tv or have a set top box with same.

What part of the country are you in?

If you just have the RTE channels, you're probably only receiving VHF analogue transmissions.

Hi I have just purchased an B type aerial (contract) to put in my attic and face it to Collins Barracks Cork. Can anyone tell me how to connect it up. Opened it and cannot see where the wire goes There are two screws in it which I unscrewed but only to find two holes. Help please Its for a bedroom. I have a bit of cable from the tv stuck in the water vent in a aluminium window and get reception but not great.
