PS3 died and a game disc is inside. How to remove

    My 40Gb FAT PS3 died suddenly just after a game of FIFA. I am going to buy a new one this weekend to replace it but I want to get the disc out of the old PS3. Is there a eject pin location on the drive to remove a disc (just like PC disc drives). I am going to break it open anyway and want an easy way to get the disc.

    Try this:
    1. First shut down the system by flipping the power switch in the back off.
    2. Hold down the eject disc button.
    3. While still holding down the eject button, flip the power switch to turn back on your PS3.
    4. When the green light comes on, wait a few seconds then tap the eject button a couple times. The fan will run on full power and the disc will eject.
