    Hey Tekno

    A couple of questions.
The missing piece, is it just to cover the 2 cables or does it serve any other purpose?
How much room in the RIS for a lipo?
What size lipo did you squeeze in there?

    Thanks

    Hi Rooky1

The cover is to allow for feeding the cables into the front handguard - its a fiddley operation sometimes, and the removal of that cover helps, unfortunately i forgot to put it back on when i tidied up the wiring - if i can find it - ill put it back on.

I used 1350 7.4v crane stocks in the hand-guard (they lasted me a full days skirmish, and as was the same lipo i had in another gun so i just used it)- there was still plenty of room left, i now run it on a PEQ box + lipo on the side for ease of changing charging if i need to.

Internally ive never touched it - the wiring was a bit chewed up in it after having to change the hop rubber (what to i cant remember) - so was recovered in heat-shrink to protect it and tidy it up a bit.

The front hand guard is removable by 6 alan head screws, there is a mini tamiya in there so you can use an internal battery, and then i have added an extension lead so i can use the PEQ box.

    Phil

    Thanks

Thanks for the detailed reply Tekno.:)

I like the AEG, but not really prepared to pay the full asking.

It is a little annoying that the midcaps are virtually impossible to get hold of as well.

Let me have a think about it a bit more. Will get back to you over the next day or two.

I presume you wont mind posting this?

I think Tekno is night gaming this weekend, but here is the quote from his original post.

    "Splits/Swaps/Part Exchange: no / no / no - please don't ask."

    I hope that helps

Nope no hassles in posting - can send it by courier 24hr service.

ill need to check the torch - tried to use it at weekend and wasnt working, unsure if my rechargable batteries were chargec - certain they were - so if its broke itll be removed from sale - or put in an offer on the lot.

Edit: sorry yes, willing to split, just don't want any swaps.
