Polling card?

    Hi all,

Not sure if this is the right place for this, so apologies if it's not!
I have a question regarding polling cards, etc.

Today I received a polling card to my new address (recently moved to Dublin).
However, I never actually managed to change my vote on the register to Dublin- I went in to the City Council only be told I'd just missed the deadline by a day, so never submitted any form. Yet they still sent me a card to my new address.
Does this mean I can vote in Dublin, and was just magically included on the register somehow? I'm totally baffled, also as to how they got my address!

Can anyone shed some light for me?

    Thanks!

if you have a polling card that means you can vote at the polling place named on it, wherever that may be.
