It would be slightly less cringe if I was actually from Cork

Let that be a lesson to all, don't drink and podcast like

Funniest moment was thomond being stumped by the westdeath question.

Very good all round, but I wish you'd cut loose and be a little bit less fair and balanced...

Once we start talking about the teams we support it will get a bit heated, I can't wait to hear ye guys try to talk up Munster:rolleyes: I am majorly out numbered by ye savages so I need some blue on my side, although us Leinster folk might get shouted down as we are far to polite to get into commoneresque type arguments in public:D:D

Well if the NZ fans don't behave themselves I'll be doing my best George Hook impression on the next one. Quade Coopers abuse was terrible

Love it, but I do like a bit of fisteyness, sure no harm in having an opinion no one else agrees with, as long as it's yours. :D

    Stop trolling the internet.
If your toning it down for the podcast you could bring it up and speak more frankly.

But if your giving your honest opinions and just saying what ya think anyway then thats all ya can do. Cant just disagree for the sake of it or you'll end up in George Hook territory.

I'd imagine the balance will shift when your all no longer neutrals anyway.

So whose in for the next episode. Would be great to get a few more voices, especially on the week of the Leinster v Munster debate.

I reckon a look at the banlist is in order, if we want to go down a certain road! :D

You defo need jackass , and he needs to bring up the topic of turnip munching. Then get Blackbeard on to suggest that mafi is world class or something.

Or that the colour of heaslips bootlaces indicate he is lazy and hates Munster.

The worry for me when someone comes on a show like that, they lose their anonymity somewhat and therefore will be themselves, rather than their boards persona.

I'd love to but I think time difference would be too awkward. Nice podcast, look forward to the next one!

I only joined TRU recently, that has nothing to do with me. (Can't believe the cheek of you to suggest that! :pac:)

Anyway, TRU has no link to the podcast at the moment, it's a coincidence that it's a similar name.

The whole topic of identity is ok, because anybody who comes on the show does not have to give their real name.

I see your point but I think it's important to identify posters who come on here (they don't necessarily have to give their really names but should be identified on here) That's why I posted "with phatpiggins, phonehead and thomond" in the title. As long they didn't have an objection themselves.

If listeners from boards didn't know that "Alan from Limerick" was in fact thomond2006, then I could say whatever ****e I wanted to. And I think without a certain amount of accountability, people just wouldn't listen. I realise we're not pundits, but we still can't talk crap.

While I want the Munster vs Leinster debate to a bit of banter and slagging (removed from what we normally do), I want anyone coming on to have the conviction to defend what they say. Otherwise they can (I don't say they will) literally troll the podcast because they won't get shouted down afterwards.
