    Hey there,

I got recommended to check out this forum. I'm involved with a programme called Yes I Can and one of the participants, Simon Jameson, has spent 5 years trying to adapt a wheelchair to enable him to play airsoft. Simon has Muscular Dystrophy and with Yes I Can he managed to complete a game of airsoft. I thought for you guys from the airsoft community this could be interesting. His behind the scenes teaser is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOPKfi5Fq9U&feature=results_video&playnext=1&list=PLA266A787411646EA

    Cheers,

Yup, that's the guy, he's been paying for a long time, played in drogheda a lot.
Nor his first airsoft film either.

Fair play to him! his wheelchair looks the job! i'd imagine having him on your team is a bit of a game changer!!! Also shows some strength of character to go and do what he did!

    Hey Guys,

on Friday the 4th the Making Of "Yes I Can", behind the scenes, is airing on Setanta Sports Ireland at 10:10 pm.
This is a behind the scenes look at Mark Pollock's four part series challenging our perception of living with a disability as disabled contestants get to try an extreme sport for a day.

    Cheers,
    Steffi

He also didn't build his chair as he says in the video, but sure let's gloss over that too in the interests of good TV.

Nah, I just think it's kind of misrepresentative in general. A number of things in the clip are just horse**** in the name of good TV. Which is fine once people don't go on with the usual OMG AIRSOFT IS REAL WINNER shoite. I happen to know the folks who built his chair, and they're nowhere to be seen.

he didnt say he built it.
he said he went out and got a chair that was built for going offroad on rough terrain and that friends who where into robotics/mechanical stuff helped him build it?
whats more do they want, its not about them or the chair, so unless they are arseholes (which i doubt they are) i cvant see why they would expect much more of a mention.

What a " Class A " retarded moronic scumbag , and i thought John terry was low ,that young chap probably spent thousands of euros on a custom. Off road chair and airsoft kit to enable him to take part in the sport and yet idiot No 1 is worried about the chair builders company name SAD

And it doesn't say a lot about the guy's character that he made an account specifically to swear at someone.

At least I'm prepared to say stuff under my own username, mister anonymous re-reg.

And, it wasn't a company that built it, it was two inidividuals who did it essentially for free. And, I could guess why they weren't featured, too -- I'd personally run a mile from having my name associated with Someone who seems so universally disliked by anyone who's crossed paths with him.

its seems you only set up this account to be abusive towards other users, personal abuse is not allowed in any way so you are now perma banned. Goodbye!

Actually, since you've called me out on what you've done on me or the community -- You're the one who threatened TA events with legal action and nearly got a sennybridge event cancelled because they wouldn't give in to your threats and demands to play without restriction on a dangerous and unsuitable site you'd never seen. I talked with you on the phone about this several times, and talked to TA events, and tried to reach an agreement, only to have you make me and Steve Fay look like a pair of clowns by undoing everything we did and threatening to "shut down your little company" to TA.

You then came on here and the IAA forums, and slung a torrent of abuse, (which got snipped and got you threatened with a ban), lashing out at everyone who'd tried to help you, and did your usual crack of threatening anyone who pissed you off with legal action. I gave you zero abuse. I talked to you about options and tried to come to an agreement, how is this abuse exactly?

If you're going to talk about richness, I think we should start with your extremely short memory. Don't come telling me you're shocked and surprised like butter wouldn't melt in your own mouth.
