    Hi,

I had to reformat my desktop last week, which worked fine but I am now having a problem while I'm streaming. After 20 minutes the screen turns its self off if I don't do anything in that period.

I have gone through all the power saving options and turned them off, but it still happens. The desktop doesn't go off, just the screen go's into standby. Any one have an idea what to do?

Presuming your on Windows there is a screensaver time out option which you can set to whatever you want.

Ya running vista and I have the screensaver turned off. It seams to be the monitor itself that is going off now the desktop

Check out the power saver options and set your monitor to "never".

Disable hibernation mode this force the screen to turn off no matter what settings you have on

Yup, that's it. More specifically, Control Panel-> Power Options-> Balanced (should be preset for you on a desktop, you can customise either the same way)-> Change Plan Settings.
