iPod touch 4 battery life..

Hi, I noticed today my iPod 4 touch said low battery, even tho i charged it yesterday and haven't used it much since. I usually use it in work where it is constantly plugged in to my PC , is this a bad thing for the battery ?

Flippin battery - turned off everything & battery lasts until 8pm then battery warning !!!! - iPhone 4

Was thinking of 4s but it battery as bad ?

Apple needs to get a new contractor for assembling their devices , i'd pay more if i knew quality was better,..
