I wouldn't expect the word "bargain" to be an appropriate word to use for any trip heading away that week. If you can do the week after then there will be cheap options.

<waits for someone to find a cheap resort for New Year week and prove me wrong>

Ive stayed in Kitzbuhel most new years for about €26-€28 per nite up to last year! but the flight out there are cclose to €350 from Cork Munich now this time round and Dublin Salzburg dates dont work out
