I was thinking about doing the same thing. I never got around to it. I was thinking that a 363mm barrel would be just right. The stock barrel is 509mm. I dont know how much of a effect the shorter barrel will have on fps

it shouldn't have any real effect on FPS. However, over 450mm-500mm it is advisable to put in a non ported cylinder so your AUG may already have one, in which case you will need a ported one when replacing the stock barrel with a CQB version, as for teh length I have no idea, guess you'll have to experiment, you may get away with 363mm or go for the Raider's stock length which is in the 200-250mm region if i remember correctly
