Tearing my hair out trying to avail of Aer Lingus special offer

Hoping that someone can help me tonight. I'm trying to avail of an aer lingus city break deal which expires tonight. I'm getting madder and madder though.

They have advertised all in flights to Berlin for €40 each way per person but when I actually try to book the flights its working out at over €600 return for myself and my girlfriend.

Is there some trick to booking these things that I'm clueless about?? Would appreciate any help asap as the 'deal' expires tonight.

If the sale ends tonight then most likely all of the sale seats have already been sold - there would probably be only a certain number of these type of seats on sale & when these are bought it would revert back to normal prices. Also the sale may only apply to travel within certain dates - do yours apply to these dates? If not you wouldn't get the sale seats.

Nah, the dates were within the parameters given but the website wouldn't let me avail of the deal. Total joke. Ends up €440 more expensive than is actually advertised.

Well then I would assume that all the "sale Seats" were SOLD OUT!

Aer Lingus sale ends tonight (Friday). There is every possibility that there will be another sale fairly soon again. Anyway, only a limited number of cheap seats on any given flight and when they're gone, they're gone for that specific sale. However, additional cheap seats are often released on subsequent sales.

You have to be kidding me!!!!

I booked my Christmas flights home with Aer Lingus (BER-DUB) on Thurs. for under 500€ for 4 people!!!! I was delighted to get them that cheap* for Christmastime

Berlin is so expensive to trave to/from, it's damn annoying the special offers (wheter AL or Ryanair) only ever seem to apply to other place in Germany...

*having said "cheap" having to pay 97,48€ (plus a few cents) for a flight that actually only costs 15,98 is a pain....
