landcruiser engine light

    hi al,

    i have a 99 non d4d landcruiser,just noticed today that when in ger going downhill letting it roll,the engine light comes on,when come back on flat it goes off,guessing it a fuel problem maybe?. . . i dont know about diagnostic because it only comes on in that situation,guess its something stupid,anyone have any ideas? thanks in advance,also the fuel filter was just changed so doubtful that

    Have you checked your oil level recently, low oil level moving around when going up or down hill could be activating the engine light.

    yeah checked that this morning,seems ok was nearer to full than empty,put a bit in anyway and still happening
