Coming across quite well IMO. What's the general impression of Joe in Armagh? I know a few lads from there, one of them from Cross and they all have very little good to say about him which I find surprising. One has never forgiven him for taking McGeaney off in the 05 semi. Any Armagh folk on here listening?

Just from outsiders point f view I quite liked him.

But I think that team should have won at least another AI if not two, think they won 6-7 Ulster titles in that period.

Kernan is a great man IMO who gave so much to a village and people that suffered unbelieveable oppression for many years.

Joe Kernan always came across to me as a nice bloke. I agree that he should have won more All Irelands with Armagh though.

great manager, he has some record have won lots of AI club titles with crossmaglen, armagh with the AI in 02. he took the galway job at the wrong time imo , if it had been around 99 or '00 he would have won a few AI with that team.

Joe won Armagh an All-Ireland with an exceptional team who should have won 3 possibly 4 all-irelands.
However there is a dark cloud cast over his reign with constant rumours and stories about the all-irelands that got away. But history will show that it was his reign, his professional approach that changed the way teams prepared themselves.
