Guitarist looking to join originals band (Dublin)

    i'm in my early 30s and have been playing guitar for around 10 yrs. i'd be interested in joining/starting the originals band in Dublin. my influences include arcade fire, r.e.m., pink floyd, pearl jam, U2, radiohead, red hot chili peppers, the editors, the killers and many more. having played and gigged with a cover band i would now like to move in a different direction and focus on creating my own stuff.

    i'm not really into big solos and heavy distorted sound and generally prefer more mellow, chilled out rock tunes. my main focus would be on exploring riffs, experimenting with sounds and playing with guitar layers. not aiming at anything big but looking at having some fun in the studio, get some recordings done and hopefully play an odd gig once in a while.
