Does anybody have one of these, circa 2007 petrol version.

Just wondering what the real world mpg is of one of them for mainly city driving?

    2008 2.0l auto

Computer reads 10.2l per 100km which is about 23/24mpg.

Correction: 10.2l/100km = 28mpg. (You're using US gallon, not Imperial gallon)

RAV 4 2WD should get low to mid 30's mpg, they're only a 1.8 litre
4WD will get around the 28-30mpg mark

    Should have stated manual.

I thought all the later Rav4's were 4wd. Well run in 2WD but the 4WD kicks in when needed.

From looking in carzone, every one I've seen is listed as 4x4 or 4WD

Missus had an earlier model 2L 4WD and it was a pig on fuel. I had a 523 at the same time and we got better economy out of that.

Don't do it, there's no good reason to buy one.
Your existing car is so much better.
