    Hi Folks,

I have recently started an evening course in mediation.

It’s a beginners course, and it is the first time I have ever tried mediation.

I’m really eager to give it a go full time (as in practice regularly).

I am just wondering what is the best music to listen to while mediating?

I am going to try a lunch time session in my car, the only part of the day I have time to spare.

We were told that adagios are good to listen to.

To be honest I would prefer something classical than “the mystic sounds of Native American panpipes”, I hate to sound all Eric Cartman but well…..it just doesn’t do it for me.:o

Maybe all the Mystical Musaq I’ve heard is rubbish and there’s some really good stuff.

Either way, your help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance Folks,

    B

if classical music is what you find most relaxing then thats what will be best for you to meditate with...
you can get all kinds of compilations but there might be some tracks on them that you dont like, if i was putting some music together id go on itunes stick 'adagio' in the search box and listen to samples..then buy the individual tracks i like
its so important that you like the music, especially if youre a music lover..
