Since putting the GM on my 3gs last week, i've noticed i have no wifi tethering option in personal hotspot, its not a major issue as i dont use it (on voda who charge stupid money for tethering) the only way i noticed it is i have a friend who put the general release on his O2 Iphone 4 and he has wifi, usb and bluetooth hotspot options (i have two out of the three)

i've read its a bug and to reset network settings, but that hasnt worked.

anyone else come across this? is it a 3gs only or vodafone only bug?

A tethered jailbreak means you can't power off the iPhone and if you do turn it off then you need to connect it back up to your computer and run the unlock again.
Untethered is the opposite where you can turn on and off your iPhone without the need to connect it to a computer.
Tethered jailbreaks usually come out before the untethered version. But it's a problem having a tethered unlock as you have to be conscious about your battery waisting while being out and about. Your phone-less until you get back to you computer.

No idea they never usually give a date. It's just a waiting game.
